Ok my cub scout friends! Being the mom of three scouts in all different branches and the wife of a cubmaster, I found myself losing more paperwork than anything and forgetting dates etc.

So...I built a website, back in my old life, the real world, that is what I did. So I built a website. Its free, its for scouts after all. its free.

there are not ads, no catches to anything. Feel free to ask my any questions about it.

Honest, its free. in two months, I am up 60 packs/troops, from cub/boy and girl scouts, from all across the country. I was quite surprised and happy!

@lisanoel03
there are other ways to volunteer if you are concerned that being a co leader would be to much. And it could be with a baby in the house right now. You could volunteer to help with a specific activity or buy the snacks for the pack meeting...things like that. Somehow I always wind up in charge of buying food for big events. But, good or bad, our pack is very small, so its not to bad.

My son in going into 1st grade and we've only been to two summer events but so far I'm thrilled with the Cub Scout program. this weekend my husband took my 1st grader and my kindergartener on a cub scout overnight. they had a blast. they got to fly model airplanes, shoot water rockets and help cook dinner which me husband couldn't say enough good things about.

we also have a 18 month old but I'm wondering...I'd like to offer some help. i know they're looking for another den leafer as they already have 15 1st grade boys and only one den but I don't know if that's a job I can step up to as a full time working mom who also has committments at church and hoping to be at least somewhat involved in the PTo at the boys school.
any thought??

Hi everyone. I have a Beat Scout. This is our 3rd year and my first as committee chair. My husband and I have both been leaders for the past two years, but now he's unable to and I decided I would rather help out from the committee than in the den. Happy Scouting all!

Hello! I'm a SAHM. My oldest boy is a Wolf scout. We were tigers last year but moved mid year and never could get hooked up with the new troop pack. Now we're involved again and it's been a little rocky. Our den leader doesn't want to lead but no one else does either. My hubby's the only man involved as the other fathers don't go to the meetings. Looks like we'll be working the program mainly on our own! sigh! I wish there was better organization for the boys to do fun things-it's just too difficult for me to jump in with a 2 year old bouncing everywhere! I organized our meetings, crafts, and activities last year and our leader signed off on everything (& he was more than fine with the arrangement) otherwise we'd never have gotten anything accomplished. This year it's more of the same only she wants to talk about everything. The boys can only take so much chatter before they go nuts! It's terribly cold here so I'm hoping things will change once the weather breaks and they can plan some outdoor activities! We'll just make lemonade & the best of what we've got.

Hi! I'm a single mom with a Tiger Scout (1st grade) -- completely new to this whole scouting thing, but I've been trying very hard to keep up with him and encourage him the best I can. It has definitely been good for him, I must say!

Hi, i realized i have not introduced myself. I have three boys:

- oldest did cub scouts all the way through but did not cross over to boy scouts (outdoors stuff is not his thing)
- middle son did cub scouts and is now a boy scout on the path to eagle
- youngest son is a cub scout now.

I have volunteered quite a bit and am currently committee chair for the pack. As a parent, I think scouting has given my boys confidence, focus, and strength. As a leader, I sometimes struggle with getting parents involved.

How will you teach your kids about Dr. Martin Luther King on this holiday?

Here are some facts about this great man that might help!
