If you are new here, please see this thread to add a link to your Twitter ID so that we can begin following each other.

I also started a group here for Photoshop/Photoshop Elements users.

If someone would like to start a group for PSP users, I'd be glad to put a link here for it. I do not use that program, so I cannot create the group.

So what digital scrapbooking projects is everyone working on these days? I am currently working on booking all the photos I took on Veteran's Day of my son and his friends playing at the park. Also working on making photo cube ornaments as gifts for this holiday.
Wishing you a picture perfect day!

Digital Scrapbooking in Cyberspace has become the new shoebox for memories. It is fun, easy and your pictures tell a story instead of laying in a dirty show box that says nothing. The best thing I every got addicted too - for my kids.

Sorry I haven't been able to be back and join the conversation sooner, been busy with my husband's birthday^_^
Deborah, I am with you about the differences between PSE and HM studio 3.0!
Hummie, I too will check out that new scrapHD when it comes out, and while I am using both PSE and HM Studio3.0, one day I will find the time to learn to use CS3, when I will have a professional camera and I will want to really play editing the pictures I will be shooting^_^

Deborah, have you seen the new ScrapHD? http://scraphd.com/ It's sure to give Heritage Makers some competition. It seems a very similarly run site. Once again, neither are for me, but each has to find what works for them.

I just upgraded from PSE 6 for Mac to PS CS4. SO far the learning curve has been great, but I am excited to learn more of the advanced photoshop features like getting rid of my double chin. Kidding. Sorta. OK, I'm not. ;)

I can make a template in PSE also and just change the photos, elements, and papers.

As a Heritage Makers user, I have to say that I have debated seriously about whether to use the Studio or to make my own designs in PSE, and have done both. I have come to use HM almost exclusively, especially since the last upgrade to Studio 3.0 Besides my own scrapbooking, I use it to design books for clients as well. I have just found that it is so much easier to use. Especially once you truly begin to see how fast it can make creating. For example, you can design a page, "lock" it and then all you have to do to change elements, papers, pictures, etc id to drag it there. Once I got used to this, it was so much faster that I just haven't been using PSE much.
I do have say that I am a HM consultant, but not such that I promote the company as a whole. I simply use them as my publishing source for my custom clients. Just thought I would throw in an opinion of a HM user.

But as an oldie in digital scrapbooking, I see that as very limited. It encourages you to buy the Premier membership at $19.95/month. Wow! I watched the video and the program is very basic also. I guess it would be great for some people who only wanted to do limited things, but I would never encourage anyone to start out that way. Sorry. People respect my opinions online and I have to be careful to say it as I see it. You can scrap for a whole lot less and do a whole lot more by other means.

I forgot to mention that the software is also free, and there is nothing to download, it is all online, that's why I like it. I think it is also a cool way to start for people that have never tried, as they won't need to buy any software and they can start practicing as soon as they sign up online for free! There are also totally free online (live and/or recorded) classes on how to use the software, for any level, beginner, intermediate and advanced, to make sure that everybody has the chance to use the program and improve their skills.
I have a lot of friends that have been thinking about digital scrapbooking, but never started, so now they have no excuse!^_^
