How is everyone? Busy with summer?

What's one fun thing you did with your dog(s) this summer?

Sheila - we're in our 13th year homeschooling. There are some amazing curricula out there to help teaching the more difficult subjects - some even doing the teaching for you via DVD! There's also teaching co-ops and other alternatives as well, if you find that the plethora of curriculum choices don't offer one that suits your needs. My now 23 yr old daughter graduated homeschool in 2004 and was accepted to 3 different colleges. ;)

Hi Beth, welcome to the group. You'll have to post a picture of your dog. I know what a great dane looks like but have never heard of Anatolian Shepherd.

Tammy that was a great assignment for your son to do. He not only has fun but learns alot at the same time. How do you deal with home schooling on a subject that you don't know much about?

Welcome Beth!! Dogs are much like children - just when you think you have it all figured out, one comes along to humble you and teach you something new. ;)

hello gang, I'm new to the group but just wanted to introduce myself & my dog... I'm Beth and my dog is Dudley. He's a Great Dane/Anatolian Shepherd mix and has taught me so much about his breed since rescuing him about 4 yrs ago. Beautiful independant & stubborn breed. I used to teach obedience and & can admit that Dudley has taught me more than my obedience training could. :)
