Wow, 4 cavaliers and 2 others. that's a lot of dogs. But they are fab. i know my favorite thing when i have a litter of pups as they get old enough and i can let them round around the house, is lying on the floor and letting them all jump on top of me - it's just precious. i never get enough of it.

Squee!!! Another Cavalier lover!! I have FOUR Cavalier myself: Charles, a Blenheim; Hope, Henry, & Georgie - all tri-colors.

Plus 2 Shih Tzu: Bear & Jack (both solid black). I used to breed Shih Tzu, and Jack is one I kept back from my last litter. ;)

I seriously need to get some new pictures of the dogs - now that I have a new camera that I barely know how to use. Need to get ALL the dogs groomed at once, then take a picture. LOL

HI, i am new to this group i just found. i have 2 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and am a breeder of this breed. Without my pups, i would go insane.

They are the best.

I've never had fresh eggs right from the chicken before. I've only had the store bought kind. I'm getting quite the education on eggs. I didn't know there would be a different flavor. Thanks for all the info and one day I will have to try fresh eggs. I would guess I would find those on a roadside stand.

Well, I do make more, but I've always been a huge egg eater, and once you've eaten fresh eggs, you like them even more. I also give some to my neighbors and daughter (my grandsons love eggs too). I almost hate to waste them when I baking since the egg flavor isn't as important, so if I'm doing a of baking, I get a dozen or so eggs from the store, like at Christmas, but thats about it. The chickens do go through periods when they either quit or cut back on their laying also.

Cindy that is great that you have adopted chickens and am glad that they are providing you with 1 1/2 dozen eggs a week. Do you find that you are making more dishes that require eggs?
