Ebay or Craigslist would be a good place to check. I hate when they discontinue our pet's favorite products. I haven't heard of your dog's favorite toy but I hope you find another one.

Does anyone know where I could find a Buddy Glo Ball? This is my dog's
favorite ball..apparently it has been discontinued.

Thanks, everyone, for all the nice comments. Australian Shepherds can be four different colors - the black-tri that looks a lot like a black Boarder Collie, red-tri like Chessie, blue merle and red merle. The blue or red merle dogs look more spotted. I never knew this until I researched the breed before we decided on an Aussie.
Petra - we checked our local shelters a lot too but instead decided to buy from a friend who was a breeder. Both of our cats came from the local shelter and they are great pets. I'm sure the right dog will show up for you. :)

Deanna your Aussie is beautiful! She sounds like a wonderful dog =)

I am still searching for a dog for our family. Been checking out the shelters, rescues and classifieds. No luck yet but I'm sure "our" dog will come along when it's supposed to!

Chessie sounds wonderful. I could use one of those dogs that would force me to walk 2 to 3 miles a day like I used to. My dogs are older (except for our son's puppy) and they like to sleep alot and cuddle. Have a great weekend!

Gorgeous dog. Chessie looks like she has very soft fur. I have heard of Aussies but never red-tri Aussie. Tell Chessie Cocoa says hi:)

Thanks. Aussies are known to be highly intellegent, fast and energetic. She is all of those things. She is also loving and protective of her family. She needs a lot of exercise, so that is why we walk 2-3 miles a day - and when I say walk, I mean a brisk pace because she hates to walk slow! She is quiet, can entertain herself for hours at a time if she has to and is altogether the perfect companion for our family. Did I brag too much?? :)

Thanks for the compliments, she would be prancing around if she could hear you! Her name is Chessie. She's a red-tri Aussie and her fur is just beautiful in the sunshine. I use her puppy picture as my photo on my blog at http://writemoms.blogspot.com
