I started this group because sometimes being a MOM is SO HARD!

When I was in high school, my guidance counselor would not let me take home ec. He said "College bound girls don't need that class." Life bound girls do, though! If only he could see me now--my 'professional' and day job is being a MOM.

If you get stressed with laundry, cleaning, kids, time for you...JUST BALANCING IT ALL. This is the group for you. If you love more than anything being a MOM but there are days when you think you will tear your hair out if you hear that word one more time. This is the group for you.

Let's change advice, pointers, shoulders to cry on...As we get to know each other and tackle this incredible blessing called being a MOM!

If only running a household was as easy as running a business. :)

My house is a mess. It stresses me out, but I really am cleaning impaired. I have a slight phobia about touching gross things, too, which makes cleaning even more difficult. My husband is an awesome cleaner, but we're both slobs, and I don't blame him for not cleaning up more often.

I do the laundry regularly, but man, anything else takes a lot more effort than I have to expend sometimes. CFS certainly doesn't help.

We're luck the house doesn't fall down on top of us. I hate to clean and cook! If we have clean clothes then all the dishes are dirty or if we have clean dishes the rest of the house looks like a tornado hit it. Ah... I dream of having a clean house...but the reality? Oh well at least we are all alive!

Hi ladies!!

I definitely need to join this group!! I am a mom of two kids, aged 12 and 9. My husband and I both work at home, and all four of us are busy. There is always something going on and it is soooo tough to stay on top of housework. I love things neat and organized -- I just hate the process of constantly working to keep it that way. I'm looking forward to sharing tips and also knowing that we're not alone!! :)

Renee,
I actually am lucky enough to have a housekeeper come once a week, and I still have problems with clutter. The biggest difference that I've noticed (aside from the fact that there aren't rings in my kid's tub) is that I can at least tread water and keep up the appearance of sanity at home.

I'm at home with 3 kids (and a 4th when she gets home from school). The clutter and chaos is OVERWHELMING!

I am in great need of this group. I just don't like housework. If my husband would let me i would just get a housekeeper. I am still working on him.

Leigh, Am relating to that song lyric! Whenever I clean my mess, I can't find anything :-)

LOL, I'm glad to know I'm not alone. I stay home with my two kids and still can barely manage to unload the dishwasher. ;) I heard a song on XM today that summed up my office (and I suspect some of yours) "Don't Touch My Stuff" by Zach Gill. Sample lyric: "What you're calling a mess is my organizational system."

I'm so in need of this group too! Mom of 3 (ages 8, 5.5 and 3) and I need a wife to take care of stuff here at the house. I make up for my poor housekeeping skills in other areas, but still...I could use some guidance here.

I used to have a paper planner, then a palm pilot. It died on me, so I am looking for a new set up. Preferably something that I could sync to google calendar. Any ideas?
