I started this group because sometimes being a MOM is SO HARD!

When I was in high school, my guidance counselor would not let me take home ec. He said "College bound girls don't need that class." Life bound girls do, though! If only he could see me now--my 'professional' and day job is being a MOM.

If you get stressed with laundry, cleaning, kids, time for you...JUST BALANCING IT ALL. This is the group for you. If you love more than anything being a MOM but there are days when you think you will tear your hair out if you hear that word one more time. This is the group for you.

Let's change advice, pointers, shoulders to cry on...As we get to know each other and tackle this incredible blessing called being a MOM!

Comment by melissa demarse on May 18, 2009 at 7:20am: that's about my only free time too, is in the shower. but even then, as soon as i step in, i hear my six year old knocking on the door to go to the bathroom!! even though i ask her if she needs to go before i get in there. once the six year old is in there, here comes the two year old, and then pretty soon i'm yelling at my husband to come get them out of there.....gotta love motherhood!!

Comment by melissa demarse on May 15, 2009 at 12:57pm: hey everyone, just started on twitter, and am loving it already. kinda nice to have a place to vent where ppl. understand. i have two girls, ages 6 and 2. i'm a stay at home mom/daycare provider, and i feel like i'm trapped in this house 24/7....you realize that you don't get out much without the kids when a trip to the grocery store alone is a major treat!! i love my children very much, but sometimes, just an hour a night or something, mama needs some alone time where she doesnt have to mend a problem, hear kids fighting, or picking up something. wonder how much it would be to sound proof a room. lol!!!
