I started this group because sometimes being a MOM is SO HARD!

When I was in high school, my guidance counselor would not let me take home ec. He said "College bound girls don't need that class." Life bound girls do, though! If only he could see me now--my 'professional' and day job is being a MOM.

If you get stressed with laundry, cleaning, kids, time for you...JUST BALANCING IT ALL. This is the group for you. If you love more than anything being a MOM but there are days when you think you will tear your hair out if you hear that word one more time. This is the group for you.

Let's change advice, pointers, shoulders to cry on...As we get to know each other and tackle this incredible blessing called being a MOM!

This is the perfect group for me! Too much to do? Just posted some of my not-so-secrets on how I get things done! Or maybe not "done" done... http://flavoredmom.blogspot.com

Gee, I'm so glad I'm not alone. Because before I got kids, I used to be a princess. As in I didn't do most of the household chores. I'm a good cook, though and was born to iron clothes he he. Now that I have two kids it's all gone a bit pete tong (as in wrong). I do try my best. My code is kids first, housework later.

I feel right at home with you all! A very messy home :) but also a home where love, creativity, play and even peace exist. My neat-freak aunt once told me that if she had as many interests and hobbies as I do she wouldn't spend so much time cleaning. I'm still not sure how to take that comment. But I do know that there is a line of what I can handle. When we get close to that line my husband usually saves us! I love him so. I'm basically waiting for my kids to get old enough to help around the house {wink, wink}

Yup, that's me. Actually, not quite domestically challenged, just domestically not motivated (anymore, after 35 years of housekeeping & mothering.) I'm a great cook, can bake, am very crafty, like to read, all kinds of things except ~ clean house.

I always was a Martha Stewart wannabe. I know style when I see it. I just don't have it, or the budget for it!

I do it, and it comes out pretty good, but I just need a shove or a reason to do it ~ like company. I'd rather blog & now I tweet all day long!

Thank goodness for @TheFlyLady!

I'm a SAHM with four kids, two cats, and a giant dog, and I am desperately domestically challenged. I sooooo want to do better!

This group is for me! I am a mess. I hate it when the doorbell rings because of what the person will see when I answer the door. I have purposely NOT answered the door and just prayed that they would go away just so they wouldn't see what a mess my house is! We are beyond "lived in" at the moment. I have often commented that I wasn't cut out for this job.

I am completely domestically challenged. I loathe cleaning, but since I am a SAHM it is one of my job titles...House Cleaner...blech. I try as hard as I can to get my 16 yr old to do all the work, but he's not having it. wink-wink.

I tend to play with the kids and run around, and then use the 10 minutes before my husband gets home to scramble and clean the house. I would so rather be crafting, writing, watching movies, or generally anything besides cleaning while the kids nap or do their studies...I pretty much suck at being a SAHM. I'm a total people person and I miss being out in the world...having intelligent conversations about fabulous shoes...you know, all that.

I'm pretty sure I need to win the lotto and hire a maid!

Hello, I think I have found my place with this group. I have my dreams of being super organised with a delicious house .... but then I wake up to reality. My reality is 4 kids, 14, 11, 9 and 3 and on some days the house from hell! Help me ..... please!

Well, were do I start... I have 3 boys, 17, 14 and 10. I have three jobs and then the mom thing too. Even though each boy has a general chore everyday (trash out, dishes, and laundry) I still walk around the house and clean. I only cook if it can be made from the microwave, sweep the tracked in mud every night, vaccum with that powdery scent stuff to get the smell of sweaty boys out of the house and if my giant kids wrestle in my cracker box living room one more time........ok, sorry lost control for a moment, any hoot, my husband and I have been together for 18 years and love the crap out of that man, but hes a deputy and works nights he does what he can to keep me from going postal, but this chatting will help also. PS "call before you come over so I can clean my house" sound familiar to anyone else?
