For those that do wear eyeliner, do you line the insides or outsides of your peepers?

I use it just outside the lash line. Lately, though, I've been lining just the top- and sometimes a little of the bottom at the outside. Not sure why I think that looks better on me all of a sudden. I'd love to hear what other people are doing- and if they're using pencil or liquid!

I'm definitely a pencil user. I've always lined the insides.

only the top lid, outside, a bit like in the 50s
I use black or dark brown
in summer, even turquoise ...

I have used eyeliner since I was in 7th grade! Got to play up my best feature! I always line outside the lash line as I have heard you can clog tear ducts and are more apt to infection lining inside the bottom lashes. I use either pencil or liquid depending on the look I am going for. Usually the pencil liner coordinates with my eyeshadow. Depending on your eyecolor, you can choose your colors. Brown eyes can do almost anything. Blues eyes pop with browns and green eyes pop with purples. Purple is the big color this Fall!
