Lera Marie, That is so cute! Much the same around our house for the VOLS! We have little cheer outfits and they fight over them. One of my daughter's first statements was GO VOLS courtesy of her Daddy! She thinks every team that comes on is the VOLS though, LOL! I look forward to the day we can take them to games.

Red River Rivalry is on today! Hookem Horns! My family is die hard Texas Longhorn fans. Every game day we rock burnt orange. Little Sadie has a cheerleading outfit.

Hi! I'm more a fan of my kids and their sports than professional teams. Watched my daughter hit a home run in softball last night. That's the best!

Hi! I'm Sarah. I'm a fan of so many teams...my alma mater Michigan State mostly and then all the Detroit teams back home. And since we live in Houston now, I've become loyal to the Astros (work for them part-time too). Hubby works in Athletics so I'm a UH fan too.

we are huge sports fans of football, go giants, baseball go mets and boy do they need alot of help, hopeful with their new teamates will give the shove they need to stop dissapointing us. and hockey go rangers, another dissapointment this year. i took my husband to a game recently for his birthday. i always a football n hockey fan and it started with my father so we would have something to do together. i learned to love baseball with my husband, n now i read the sports section to keep our conversations going. the funny thing is, when my son met my husband he was just turning two, n he was wearing a yankee hat from my father. my husband looked at him n then to me n said he will convert or he will live with grandpa, he was kidding but we converted my son n he is getting the hang of baseball slowly. does fishing count?

@patti O'Beirne oh my grandson would die a certain death! Even though we live in Texas he is, and always has been, a red sox fan! He got 2 see them play twice this past year and it was all he could do to keep from keeling over with excitement.

Re "sports related gifts" under the tree -- I got a pair of Loge seats that had been removed from Fenway Park. (The Red Sox are replacing the seats section by section). I brought them in to my office to use as "guest" chairs!! Reactions: some people very jealous, some people strangely amused, some people now refuse to have meetings in my office!

Hehe! Our christmas stocking this year were.. .Soccer, Houston Astros, and Houston Texans! We almost wrote Dynamo on the Soccer one, but my daugther didn't want to! I have Astros ornaments for my tree! :) Sports nut here!
