Hi all. I joined this group because I really need a push to get back to exercising regularly. I used to be very good about going to the gym and being physically active, but then we had to switch gyms (our old one closed) and I've struggled to get motivated there. We're letting our membership to that gym lapse when it comes up for renewal next week and will join another gym in November.

Any suggestions or support?

Hi everyone! I recently found this site and am trying to get connected on a few boards. I have recently lost 18 lbs and I feel great!! At one time, I thought I wanted to be a personal trainer so I did the training, but never developed the body I needed to represent that career. I am getting closer every day. I recently found a new routine loosely based on the popular P90X routine. I am excited to get started with it. (Did the first set tonight and it was really good.) I am reviewing the goals of being a personal trainer... I already sell a great health/nutrition product line. Could be a great fit for me

Hey guys! Welcome to the group! So glad to see you!
Beth, maybe you two could do some Tae Bo tapes at home together, or take walks after dinner every night. Smoothies are fun to make! I have a free ebook of smoothies for all new followers on Twitter!

CHW, it's soooo easy to forget to take care of ourselves when we become moms. No worries, today is the best time to start! Just take it slow, and one day at a time. Take care of you!

Penny, walking is great exercise! if you need toning, I would start with bodyweight exercises like push-ups, squats, lunges, and planks. Start slow and easy.....no injuries! Then move up to weights and/or resistance bands for variety. Yoga is great for flexibility....I need to do more of that myself.

Have a great day, everyone!

Have been out of work for awhile and really been catching up on things around the house, but in that time, I got out of routine and have gained some weight so just need to find some friends to get encouragement and talk about getting back into a fitness program. I'm a big walker, but I really need to do some toning. Anyone have a good program that they use on toning and stretching...I'm so out of shape. Thanks hope to meet and make new friends here.

Hi ya'll. I am new here, and uhhh. I am terribly out of shape. I let my body go after having my now 1 year old son. I weigh 170 something, and I want to get back down to at least 130. I am just looking for advice and motivation, really.

Hi,
I am a landscaper by trade, 20+years. So that keeps the weight down for me, but in the winter I seem to pack on the pounds. I found this great weight management chewy. OceanBreakers Burn with fucoxanthin. Its the best thing on earth. I have lost 5+ pounds and counting. The Breakers burn helps you get your metabolism going and reduces your appetite. Along with our 15 Day TurnAround guide book. Its fantastic. My best friend has lost 10 pounds.
With regular excersise and better foods, this Breaker works great.
It tastes like a gummy bear, like apricots soaked in OJ.
Check out my site at www.TheOceanProducts.com
If you have any ??'s just email me.
Thanks,
Danie

Caronsetc-That's a great attitude! It's all about what works better for YOU....not just following a cookie-cutter routine out of a magazine. And concentrating on how it makes you FEEL....that's great. The scale doesn't tell us anything. Those aren't the numbers to focus on....it's the number of hours in the day that you are more productive, more energized, and able to spend with your friends and family that matter.

Sangeeth - Hi! You've come to the right place for encouragement! I'm the CFO and CEO of my business....Chief Fitness Office and Chief Encouragement Officer! =) Forget about the past and start today. It doesn't have to be an hour. Take a 5-minute walk around the block, do squats while brushing your teeth, do crunches during commercial. Give yourself a pat on the back for anything that gets you moving. Soon you'll want to do more and more!

Tamara, thanks for the suggestion for "the daily plate" on livestrong.com. I'm going to check it out right now. It sounds really great!
