Great job Anne! Keep up the good work! You got it on the mental thing - it's often mind over matter. Read the article I posted on procrastination. It's often whether or not we want to work towards long-term goals, because we don't always see the results right away.

Hello ladies I'm 39 years old Mom Entrepreneur...I just joined twitter moms and also happy to have joined with fitness moms(:

I always love the fitness aspect in my life though it's not easy when you work around the clock .
I try to enjoy all kinds of food...the trick for me is not to stop eating what I enjoy but rather eat smaller portions such as; instead of eating 2 slices of pizza I will only eat one, I love cheesecake... so, what I do when I order cheesecake I usually eat only half and the other half my hubby eats(: ... if you are looking to loose some weight cut your daily meals in half, exercise 3 x a week (at least 1hr...I know this is hard because we are busy moms but well worth it) and incorporate more fruits, vegetables and lots of water(:
Tip: Prepare a smoothie for breakfast or lunch in lieu of a sandwich or pizza(:...do this about 3x a week or everyday. It sure will shed those extra pounds you have been trying to get rid off(:
*Here's a frozen smoothie which I enjoy ...it gives me lots of energy physically & mentally;
frozen strawberries (one hand full), half banana, frozen blueberries(half hand full), 1 cup of pomegranate or cranberry juice, and half cup of soy milk, blend all together...yummy delicious!! This is really high on antioxidants which not only helps to shed the pounds but does wonders to your skin giving you a nice glow(:
Antioxidants protect cells from the damage caused from free radicals so it does many wonders for your skin!

This is a new study done on procrastination. It's called, "Escape Artists" in Pyschology Today magazine. When I read it, I got to thinking about how this could apply to people and exercise and losing weight. http://www.psychologytoday.com/articles/200908/escape-artists
