I agree, Smitten kitchen is terrific. Also Alanna Kellog's Veggie Venture

Especially useful now, because she has a low carb category.

I have been writing my blog Dinners for a Year and Beyond for about 2 years. I really enjoy sharing my family's dinner recipes and getting feedback from my readers.
If you are looking for a new dinner idea, stop by.
I love, love, love www.epicurious.com and use it all the time. You can just type in one word in the search to get a ton of recipes from Gourmet and Bon Appetit...yummy.
Hey Y'all. I too LOVE Family Foodies! (And not just because I'm interning with them!) We have a great mix of meal ideas, recipes, tips, and humor! I handle the "Southern" flair side, so if you like it hot, spicy and comforting--I'm your gal.
I can't WAIT to check out the other blogs/sites you ladies mentioned!
along the same lines of smittenkitchen.com's great pics is a new blog i found and actually included in one of my recent suite 101 articles -- Hide The Cheese.
I have sampled quite a few of the yummy recipes on the site (they don't just look delectable, they really are!). one of her more recent recipes -- homemade ketchup -- is pure fun.
I like to go on Chowhound for dining out suggestions, which has great forums for your particular city. For cooking at home, yes, Smitten Kitchen is fabulous!
