My new favorite tool of the trade is an electric pressure cooker. I made some cranberry beans in veg broth with onions, carrots, and potatoes the other day for a simple lunch. I set it up, set it to cook for about an hour, and went back to work for two hours knowing it would keep things warm until I was ready to curl up and have my lunch break.

I am going to unfreeze my bananas today and and make banana bread. I Like to use older bananas, but they attract fruit flies, so my sister pinky told me to freeze them. Here's hoping it worked.

Hi fellow Foodies -- I would love to know a few fun recipes to try with my toddler for Halloween goodies. I'm knee deep in launching my own new gourmet product line and am also happy to help entrepreneurial moms who want to turn their kitchen table talents into a business as I've learned alot and had many bumps and successes this past year test marketing my new product ideas. But also looking to take a break from my business for the holiday and make something cute and fun for my son for halloween -- so any quick recipes for gooey goodies are appreciated!

I am interested in learning how to make cheese. Any suggestions on where to start? I know soft cheeses are easier for beginners. Let me know what you know.

Hi Gemma, I have always made a great apple crumble and I'm thinking the texture of the banana is too different. Also, the flavors (to me) don't meld. But, that's just my 2 cents...

Hello. I've recently become really involved in food and everything that we've been putting into our family's bodies lately, especially now that our son is one and trying (ugh!) to start on the solids. I grew up with a mom who always loved to cook and always had something in the oven. Now, she's quit her former career and has started her dream of being a personal chef! So food has kind of run in the blood!
