twitter moms: the influential moms network

Hi all,
My name is Michelle and I am putting together a book about parenting newborn babies. A psychologist has written the chapter on maintaining relationships after having a baby, she has done a great job of discussing the changes a couple go through and how a women and her partner may feel different about her body. She has also talked about ways to keep the passion in the relationship. It is all good stuff but I feel it is too dry and academic. Throughout the rest of the book I have included parent stories, (many of them are by Twittermoms), I would love it if anyone could share their story of how they felt about their bodies, having sex for the first time after having a baby, even how they managed sex with co-sleeping or baby in the bassinet. This is one subject I am having trouble getting my friends to share!I would love to include real people in the book, as I think that new moms relate to other moms. I do not have to use your real name if you don't want me to, and I will let you know if your story is chosen to go in the book. The book will be sold in Canada, USA and Australia at this stage. You can see our first book at www.thetriumphantchild.com

Well, I really thought that after having a baby, that first of all my husband wouldn't find me attractive anymore and secondly, I wouldn't have the urge to do it. We are almost four weeks right now postpartum and we want to have sex more now than ever. So many people had told us that once you have a child that your sex lives goes out the window. Since we have had our little one, I find my husband so much more attractive, seeing him with our baby is so sexy, I just can't get over it.
Not sure if this is the details you wanted, but hope it helps. You can use my name if you'd like, Samantha from Bangor, Maine
