Persistence on queries

Hi All: I have two queries with national magazines and I wanted to ask how long do you wait before following up? I waited three weeks after I sent the first query and still no response. I know they're busy ladies but I want to get some traction!

I usually wait 3-4 weeks before following up. But I recently participated in a webinar hosted by Linda Formicelli (The Renegade Writer) and she says she only waits two weeks!
