twitter moms: the influential moms network

In my ThriftyWAHM.com blog I offer a thrifty tip every day of the week, and I'll share some of them here in this thread. There's a lot of information out there, and I hope this helps people!

The first one HERE. It's a list of coupons for organic food, which I always find so hard to locate!

Scroll down for more tips as I add them! You can also subscribe to the RSS, or follow me on Twitter!

Here's another one:
Homemade Laundry Detergent - Try making your own detergent. I'm waiting for my $20 jug of Tide to run out and then I'm all over this one. I'm also looking forward to adding some Lavender essential oil for scent.

I have seen this on Seventeen Kids and Counting. It just seems so time-consuming!! But I would like to do it too

Thanks so much! You're right. It is very hard to find organic food coupons. I find a few in the free magazine I pick up at the checkout at my local health food stores.

does any one here shop on line? The company I am with saves you money on on-line shopping and we network about other ways to save with www.coupons.com. etc. They also are interested in educating and promoting eco- friendly and organice products. You also earn points (which is cash) from others who shop on your site or you have referred and shop on their own site.
My email is shereebosch@yahoo.com.
This is new in many areas. But there are tour calls 24 hours: www.24hourtour.net/sbosch
Let me know what you think. I have just been doing it for 2 months have made about $1800. But also they have newsletter tips for saving money.
I look forward to networking with you.

I make my own laundry detergent too! I love it. I am still on my first go round of supplies. Awesome deal. I have had to pour it out of the 'vent hole' in my big jug. I found that I was too thick to come out of the squeeze spout. I also run a second rinse. I have a high efficiency washer. It is worth my pennies to run a second rinse to ensure the detergent is out of the washer.

You should can add a little water too it to thin it out. You don't need to use very much. I switched to making a powder instead of the liquid because mine would get a little bit of a metallic smell to it ewww!
