Okay, Midwestern gals! Here's our roll call!
I think it would be great to know more Midwestern Moms here on Twitter Moms. So, if you're writing from farm country (like I am) or the Big city (Chicago, anyone?), from places that grow corn to wheat to soybeans to towns right along the Mississippi, introduce yourself.
And while you're at it, tell us what you love about being a Midwest Twitter Mom.

Hello! I'm Laura. We live in Princeton, Minnesota (50 miles northwest of the twin cities metro) - Minnesota native born and raised in Minneapolis. My husband is from North Dakota I actually love the winters here (now that I don't have to commute 50 miles one-way to work anymore that is :) ) makes me enjoy the warmer seasons more I think and the Fall is Absolutely Beautiful! plus less and smaller BUGS!!! LOL

Hi all,
I'm new to Twitter Moms; just joined tonight. I live in the Twin Cities. I own two after school music program for kids 8 - 18 years old. My websites are www.schoolofrock.com/stpaul and www.schoolofrock.com/edenprairie.
I have a 19 year old son who moved to L.A. to pursue a professional music career so I'm in the next phase of my life as a single woman approaching 50 years old. It's an interesting experience.

Great to meet you. We love to vacation in Minnesota -- during the summer.
One of my favorite things about Minneapolis in the winter, though, are the upper story walkways from building to building downtown. It's nice to be able to walk from my hotel to a meeting without getting snow in my shoes.

Hi! I am from Waterloo, Iowa- born and raised, the furthest I have lived away from home is Des Moines, Iowa for four years. I don't know anyone on here, but I think this is such a cool site. Looking for new moms that can give me some tips on what to do with my two year old and infant this winter (it seems like Oct-Apr is considered winter this year!) :)
