twitter moms: the influential moms network

I blog about green/natural living and parenting for a local website, and I've been thinking lately that I'd really like to do a series on great websites. I've got a small list of my own regularly-visited sites going already, but I'm sure there are many gems that I'm missing, especially in the blogosphere - I don't have ANY blogs currently on my list!!!

Here's what I do have:

Women Voices for the Earth
Skin Deep, The Cosmetics Safety Database
The Environmental Working Group
ecomii
The Green Guide by National Geographic

Looking forward to seeing your lists!

A small group of us just banded together to start a new blog -- it's at www.greenphonebooth.com -- where ordinary women turn into superheroes! I'm Olive S. Oyl but there are 4 other sheroes for you to read as well. Would love for you to check it out!

A group of green moms and mothers of the Earth have banded together to form, the green mom carnival. Anyone can join (male or female). The group of women are diverse, intelligent, and range in age and number of children which leads to a different perspective to our monthly topic. Join us. Instruction about the carnival are at www.organicmania.com. I love all the blogs listed on the site.

I am especially fond of www.fakeplasticfish.com, http://www.greenphonebooth.com/, the green guide, treehugger, www.lowimpactliving.com, www.greenbiz.com, www.buildinggreen.com, AND of course my blog, www.green-talk.com a mix bag of green living, green building, recycling, and organic gardening content

Wow! Great idea and so many awesome blogs. I knew of some of them, can't wait to make my own list. Thanks for the links, it saves so much time from having to find them yourself!!

I have a holistic family living blog at Holistic-Show.com and kicking off an associated radio show. Just wanted to put my link here so that moms interested in what I am can find me too.

I really like IdealBite.com They email me a quick green idea every day (they also have a green mommy subgroup) which makes being green easier when it is done in smaller steps.

The Little Seedling Blog is pretty good. I have it on my RSS feed.

Thanks for posting this - while there's many of my favorites already here, I've picked up some new ones too!

One of my current faves is Seven Planet - the first online green general store. They have great products, many that I've never seen before!

The EPA also has a fun kids site.

I'm glad to see the EWG on your list - they do wonderful work! One of their projects that I'm involved with right now is the Kid-Safe Chemicals Act which would protect children from toxin chemicals that they may currently be exposed to. I feel pretty passionate about this.

Thanks again...Gina
