I am trying my hardest to become as green and natural as we can. We are starting small and hope to be much better as the days go by, but I was excited to share with all of you my home business.

I enjoy candles in my home, love the aroma but HATED all the black mess that so many if not almost all candles leave on the jar and everywhere else! YUCK. I searched for a long time for not only a home business but one I could be proud to share with others and be proud of the products!

I started my company late last year because I was very disappointed by the limited options available for organic blankets. Everything I found was drab and styleless! I wanted blankets for my kids that had style and had a wonderful satiny edge like the blankets I remembered having as a child, without it being petroleum based!
So I set to work scouring the web and went to work on creating the first blanket, which my daughter still takes with her to preschool. I combine certified organic cotton sateen low-impact prints with your choice of flannel, fleece or sherpa (all certified organic) and a luxurious hemp/silk blend satin trim. After making a couple for friends and seeing how much they loved them, I decided to launch my business, Green Wrapz (www.greenwrapz.com).
I have since expanded into making blankets in sizes lovie, baby, child/crib and adult throw, bibs, burp cloths, gift sets, appliqued onesies and baby caps, and even wine gift bags (mommy and daddy deserve a little something organic too, right?).; ▶ Reply to This
