Take the Earth Hour to Earth Day Challenge
The cool folk at Cool People Care have issued the Earth Hour to Earth Day Challenge. Between Earth Hour on March 28th and Earth Day on April 22nd they're challenging us to do one thing each day that educates someone else as to the very green changes they could make in their life.
Are you up for it?

If you're stuck for ideas Cool People Care have a few to get you started:
* Post on your blog what you're doing to make it from Earth Hour to Earth Day
* Send a tweet to your followers that includes a link to an informative article about climate change.
* Join a Facebook eco-conscious cause or group each day, or use some of the great eco-conscious Facebook applications.
* Send daily text messages to your friends to reduce, reuse or recycle
* Upload pictures of the earth's beauty to your Flickr account
* Tell the world via YouTube about an environmental cause you care about
* Change your email signature, sending people to an informative Web site

Earth Promise Overview

One’s promise can immediately become someone else’s promise. The viral aspect of the site will enable the exponential increase of awareness of these promises that can have a huge impact.
Get inspired and inspire others. Together, we will be a caring and positive voice for the environment.
Earth Promise - Three Weeks of Green Interviews before Earth Day 2009
Earth Promise is planning a special series of interviews in honor of Earth Day. For the first 21 days of April, leading up to Earth Day (April 22), Earth Promise will be posting an interview a day on our blog. These interviews will be with influential people in the green world, from politicians to bloggers to celebrities to writers. Questions asked would include various topics from how each person greens their lives, what are some key recommendations for what we can do for the environment, thoughts on President Obama’s plans, and other environmental topics. We also want to hear about one key Earth Promise each interviewee will make moving forward.
