Hi All Eco Conscious Mammas
Glad to find this group.

I live green with recycling, growing (no chemicals) vegis, and started integrating green eco elements into my home, and a whole host of other things I found that there are many small steps & behaviors that can help.

While on my path to greeness an interesting thing happened, I started attracting (though no consorted effort - is that green?) green related clients in my ad/marketing agency. Because of this I have learned a lot and been exposed to neat ideas and recourses.

Thought that I would share some recourses

Being in Southern Cal, water is a big issue, so in collab. with client I wrote an article Hub on Water conservation. this article can apply no matter where you live from in home water conservation tips to exterior water saving tips, drought tolerant plants and descriptions of what Xeriscapes are.

Blog from
Eco Consultant
has a lot of good articles that covers everything from solar, to green wash ads (are they really green) to home remodeling and more.
Heres some neat green orgs.

nature ag. green organization
- this is a comprehensive green site lots of articles and resources and news topics range from advocating green biza, to consumer products to gatherings and more.
- Natural Resources Defense Council another great organization that covers hot topics news and actions. in life covers green living, businesses and more. Even if you so choose topics they are lobbying about and how to get involved.

I hope you find the resources helpful in being green.

I'm just starting, or at least re energizing, our Go Green journey. As a Girl Scout Service Unit Manager, I'm planning a Go Green event to educate and inspire future activists. (More on this in a discussion post.)

Also, as a homeschool educator, I received a request from the American Museum of Natural History in NY for post on Going Green that they will integrate into the exhibit on Climate Change that is opening on Oct. 18.

If you'd like to answer:
* What are you doing about climate change?
* Have you changed your light bulbs? Your driving habits? Your vacation plans?

Please be as concrete and specific as possible. And please specify how you would like to be identified (at a minimum, first name, city, and state where you live). Mail answers to: aapplewhite@amnh.org
