What are your favorite show(s) on HGTV?

I Love house hunters, property virgins and how much is my house worth. I'm so ready to get my own house but we won't be buying at least for 3 more years when the baby graduates high school. But I love looking at other peoples houses.

Overall, I prefer the more Real Estate and building shows than the strictly designing shows, but I love em all. Some of my favorites: Ground Breakers, Hammer Heads, Design to sell, House Hunters, Hidden Potential, Don't Sweat it, Over Your Head, Carter Can, Curb Appeal, and the list goes on. That new $250,000 Challenge is pretty good. They need to come to my street.

I'm right with you Mrs. C. We don't have our own place either but I love looking at other peoples. By the time we are ready to buy, I will know exactly what I want, where I can get it, and how much I should be paying for it.

I guess I sort of like the design shows, my faves right now are Pure Design, Color Splash, the Stagers, and a few others that I can't think of the names right now. We do like to watch the real estate shows, pretty interesting. Like watching the $250,000 Challenge, too,

Well I don't get a chance to watch too much since I'm at work all day, but when I workout in the gym or I am at home, I like Divine Design, Design on a Dime and occassionaly House Hunters.

I love them all. I'm a total addict. I don't watch TV, but HGTV is my clean, styled, uncluttered and perfectly staged little secret. How sick am I that my favorite alone-time activity is folding laundry and sneaking a bit of House Hunters? Love love love the Color Splash guy, but not so much the redneck dude that makes small projects into huge disasters.

I'm not a fan of the people trying to buy or sell a house shows. I know that they are cheaper to produce than the decorating shows. I already have a house. I'm more interested in learning/lusting over how other people have decorate their homes. Not surprising since that's what I blog about! :)

I seem to LOVE all the shows on HGTV. But my favorites are House Hunters and International House Hunters. I also like any of the shows that have to do with makeovers/remodeling. LOVE THEM...much to my husband's chagrin :)

I absolutely love Design on a Dime! They do the coolest stuff on that show. Also love Decorating Cents. Even though the styles they work with generally aren't what I would go for in my own home, I'm all about learning to use what I've already got and working on a budget. I really like Curb Appeal, too. I used to enjoy Gardening by the Foot or whatever that show was called, but I am up too late and sleeping in too late to watch any of HGTV's early Saturday morning shows anymore.

What I don't like? Designer's Challenge. I just can't even relate to spending as much to design one room as my entire house is worth. I certainly can't imagine spending upwards of $50K on one room.
