Look at how cancer rates have skyrocketed over the last 20 years! By converting your home to green products, you will see an improvement in your family's health! When I first detoxed my home, I found that my bronchial asthma went away. That was 4 years ago. It has not returned once since then. There are products that are safer for your loved ones and the planet and don't cost more to buy! Take a look at the harmful chemicals in the everyday products you may currently be using.

This is really interesting. My family and I have been green (or at least attempting to go green) since the beginning of the millenia. We didn't go out and purchase alot of products. We started small.
First we began by learning to recycle. It took us almost 6 months to get in the habit of doing it, but once we started it became easier.
Then we started a square foot garden. In stead of throughing away, coffee grounds, egg shells and milk and things of that nature, we used them as fertilizer for the garden.

Hi Cherrie, I started shopping eco-friendly about 4 years ago. I actually have better health today! My neighbor showed me how to shop eco-friendly and wholesale. I was a coupon clipper and shopped daily at the local grocery store, so it was wonderful to have more time and not be doing price comparisons trying to find the lowest prices. Now I am guaranteed a safer product and pay less for it. My husband and I also purchased a composter and put all our eggshells, fruit and veggie clippings and shavings and coffee grounds too, and what we feel is safe for the environment in it. We just planted a small garden too! I used to shop online but didn't know that the products I was buying were harmful to our health. Formaldehyde was in many of them. My asthma was triggered often, but not in the last four years! Wow, why don't the manufacturers let us know that formaldehyde causes cancer? It is in makeup, baby shampoo, cleaning products and much more. If you need a better way to shop, just let me know!

We've been working at being more green for about 5 years now, ever since we found our youngest has some challenges at school. Lately, I've noticed that my husband - the hardest to convert - is even embracing what we're doing. We haven't used chemicals to clean the house in 5 years. Colds and flus are way down. The kids have a much healthier appreciation of the planet and we feel way better. Our daughter's challenges are somewhat better, but at least we have eliminated the toxic element that contributed to her learning challenges. We really notice smells now when we're out. None of us can walk down the laundry or cleaning product aisle at the local store, because the smell is too much. We even notice when others have their clothes washed in scented detergent. There is still so much more to learn and it's a very conscious state of being to be green and it is worth it!

We started recycling and composting years ago too. But I didn't know about the harmful toxins til 4 years ago. I had bronchial asthma most of my life. Now 4 years and bronchial asthma free. I am a believer in green products now.

I have been following this and I think you guys may have it figured out. My daughter (23) has been convincing me about "green". Plus I am in the contract furniture business which is going "Green". But as importantly any of you who have an interest in this as well as home based business owe your selves the time to look at an up and coming on line portal that is your own E-commerce on line shopping Mall that promotes and supports the same things you do. You can see at www.shoptoearth.net/sbosch where you and others can earn "cash back" to you (instead of Google or Amazon ) as well as support companies that are promoting eco / organic friendly companies many of whom you already shop with.
Hey what's wrong with that?

I do alot of comparison shopping and have found that many of the so called "Green Products" charge you for the water, you only get one bottle and that generally goes into the landfill when it is empty. I found a company that started concentrating their products and saves plastic and has reusable bottles. Plus their products work great, unlike some of the store brands. Not having bronchial asthma anymore sold me completely. I only wish I had heard about it sooner. But now my whole family is healthier. They sell over 350 safer products. If you have not heard about them, you can go to http://www.thewhycircle.com/raemgarcia and I will send you the link to check out their product store online.
