Do you homeschool a child with autism?

We're homeschooling our 12 year old with high functioning autism, and I write about it on my "National Homeschooling Examiner" site. I'm hoping to meet other homeschoolers with kids on the autism spectrum, find out what works, review your innovative homeschooling products and more.

Yes, we're in our fourth year of homeschooling both of our kids who have special needs, one of whom has Asperger's. She's nine years old. I don't have innovative homeschooling products but I do think I'm a rather innovative homeschooler!

Permalink Reply by Michal on June 8, 2009 at 8:29am: I have a 9 yo with Aspergers, plus a 7yo, 4 yo, and 2yo. We just finished our 2nd year of homeschool. I use WTM philosophy mostly. Homeschooling works for us because we can take SID into account-- academically, our son is advanced, so I haven't had to select special curricula.; ▶ Reply to This
