Looking to Connect with Other Indy Moms

Hi! This year I started my homeschooling journey. I have found the experience to be very rewarding and our family is blessed by it. I recently joined a small homeschooling support group of Christian mothers. This group has been a source of great encouragement and insight. Please let me know if you are a new or veteran homeschooling mom who would like to connect in the Indy/Greenwood, IN area. Thanks.

I don't live in Indy but, my friend and I created a site for Homeschool families www.HSsegue.com. We just launched nation wide in early April. The site is free. We are getting a lot of new homeschooling mom’s that are signing up for HSsegue as we are high on a Google search for “Homeschool Support”, many in Indiana.
What can I do on the site? All postings are local to your community, viewable within a 100 mile radius of the zip-code on the post.
• Find other Parents to Co-Op with
• Locate classes I can't teach
• Organize Field Trips Post and Organize field trips
• Enroll in Field Trips that others have organized
• Find Tutors/Instructors
• Post Co-Ops that are forming Post Co-op classes
• Post Classes that are forming
• Post and Discover Local Events You can post your group's activities in this area
• RSVP to Local Events
• Post Educational Needs
• Enroll in Co-ops, Classes or Events that other people post.
• Create a class list from a posting that I have made for future communication.
When you make a posting in Happenings, all registered members within a 100 mile radius of the zip code of the event get an automatic email notification of the formation of your new group. This is not a chat group, we are a site to post and organize many different types of homeschool offerings and folks can enroll right from your postings.
As we just launched, I am trying to get the word out.
