Hi, everyone...I am so glad that those of us who "hook" it have finally got a spot to have a place.
My name is Dawn. I am a happily married mom of 3 kids (2 of which are teens). My daughter also hooks with me, and has gotten quite good. We are considering starting an etsy store for our crocheted items, and we also sell at craft shows in our area. We also have a home business with Noah's Ark Animal Workshop and we homeschool all of our kids.
Hi, I'm Patty - working mom of a 2 1/2 year old boy who has finally discovered what being a toddler is all about! He spends the day with my husband, a stay-at-home dad who seperated from the Air Force in March of 2007. When I'm home from work, I love nothing more than to veg out on the couch with some yarn and a hook.
I started crocheting 26FEB2005, on my mom's birthday, when I just had a strange urge to learn how. So I bought one of those "Teach yourself how to crochet" kits at Hobby Lobby and started a blanket that is still in progress. I wanted to double it for use on a bed and accidently quadrupled it!! I get it out every now and then but mostly I just do regular sized afghans, baby blankets, scarfs, etc.
My current project is another impromtu afghan where I will be piecing together granny squares that have some popcorn stitches on them - another new trick for me. ;o)
I'm also an experienced cross-stitcher and mediocre knitter!
Hey all! I'm Dianna crocheting is one of many thing I like doing. I mainly make jewelry, soap, and lip balm. I am currently trying to teach my eight year old to crochet. I look forward to getting to know all of you!
I'm Theresa -- christian homeschooling mom to 6. I've been crocheting since my great-aunt taught me how as a little girl. I made a sweater for my 19yod a few weeks ago -- a first for me! I've made curtains, doilies, afghans, scarves, mittens, fingerless gloves, legwarmers, dish cloths, purses, slippers and dog sweaters, but had never attempted a top of any kind before. It turned out really cute, and I was even able to make a couple of adjustments to it (for a better fit/look) sans pattern! LOL!!
I always have several projects going at once, and I'm always on the lookout for the "next" one. I tend to stick to worsted weight yarns or yarns I can buy at WalMart-type stores LOL! I'm currently looking for a pattern for a valance that can be made out of cotton ... and I'd love to find one with hearts in it!

Hi everyone - I'm Lori. Crocheting is one of MANY interests. I learned how to crochet at a very young age when my grandma taught me. There is only one problem, apparently I crochet backwards - I never knew that until during a class, the instructor pointed it out. My grandma is left-handed, I am right-handed and that seems to be the problem. Although, you can't tell that my stitches are backwards (unless maybe you are an expert), but sometimes that are rather unique.
Hi everyone! I'm a SAHM/WAHM of 2 lil kiddos. My hubby is in the Army and we are stationed in WA, I'm orig. from OK tho. I love to crochet and also sell some of my items on ebay along w/other stuff. My gma taught me how to crochet long time ago..basic stitches and such and I just went from there. I'm starting to try to read patterns and such and do more but I mainly look at something and try to figure out how to make it look the same. lol
I have a Yarn shop that I go to a few times a week to sit and work on my projects and chat w/some lovely ladies and the hand warmers that you see on my page are a personal pattern from myself that the yarn shop had me do for them...which is cool. Pretty sad when I can't read patterns yet..but I made one for someone else hee hee.
I guess that's bout it for me..nice to meet yall!!
Hello,
I am a SAHM to 5 children.
I have been crocheting for a while.. I lost count of year.. 5 or so.. (I think) lol.
I've been knitting longer, but I like crochet a bit better. It's quicker.
Hello! I'm Heather, a 39 year old sahm (trying to be a wahm!) of a baby girl and toddler boy. I was in the outside work force my whole life until I had my son two years ago, so it's been an adjustment. My Mom recently moved down by me to be near me and the kids, and she's been teaching me to crochet, knit and sew. I'm hungry to learn all I can about this lost art - because it's incredibly creative. Can't wait to meet and learn from you all!

Hi my name is Liz and crocheting is my hobby. I have 5 kids too and homeschool the oldest 2 so I need my hook and yarn to help me unwind. I try to sell things on etsy but it's a slow go if you know what I mean.
