I'm finishing up a market bag for a friend, a purse for me, and an afghan. I'm always looking for something new to start, and usually have 3 or 4 things going at once. :o)
Here's a couple of preview pics of the blanket I am working on. The colors are a bit off from the flash on the camera, but I'm using the Lion Brand Vanna's Choice yarn for this project. I love this yarn, it is so soft - though a bit pricey but thank goodness for Hobby Lobby's 40% off coupons!!
Each square has an "x" shape area of popcorn stitch and the rest is shell stitch. This is my first "designer" blanket (i.e. anything other than plain sc, dc, etc)! I might just finish this tomorrow, so will post another photo when I'm all done :)
I am almost finished with my baby blanket, so maybe I'll be able to get some pictures uploaded. I want to get an Etsy store going for my things so that maybe I can make some money off them.
WooHoo!!! Finished my baby afghan and started on another, bigger, afghan. I'll get some pictures of it tomorrow, after I wash it, then I will put it in my Etsy store.
I'm making an "emergency candle" to sell. The really cool thing is that I may crochet a candle, but inside, there is enough space to put a flashlight, making it the perfect home decor.
Now I'm making little squares for Dana's blankets . And finger-puppets for my grandkids.I wish I would have much more time- like at least 240 hour's a day...I have soooo many plans and soooo little time. But my very next projects will be a few "soul-warmers"-- little lightweight but cozy sweaters.
I'm currently working on a Christmas basket that I will put on my Etsy site when it is finished. I hope to get it done today or tomorrow, and maybe make another one.
got yarn yesterday to work on Dana's blankets and will start today during lunch break... i had the hardest time finding 100% cotton yarn - who would have thought?!
