Liz it is really fun and easy and a great way to use up old yarn. The snake in the pictures was made with bits and pieces of scrape yarn.

I've got several of these in various pieces - I did finish a coffee mug tho that was cute. I'll have to dig it out of my kid's room to take a pic! Good work JJ!

I never heard about AMIGURUMI but I made many little crocheted toys.A cat family-11 or 12 members,flower fairies,fruit-and veggi-buddies and many little dolls.--I do not have any pictures,I have gave them away...

I looked at your pics and I think you did a great job! I have been crocheting for over 35 years and just recently started doing amigurumi. I love it!! Most people have never heard of amigurumi but I've discovered it has a HUGE online life! I have a crochet blog that mainly focuses on amigurumi. There are more pictures of my completed projects there as well as some free patterns, helpful how-tos and lots of photos. Check it out if you want to. I'm always looking for feedback!
