Hi Ladies,
Did you see Dana's wonderful idea?
I think everybody could find time for a few squares ..
It only takes a few min.to finish a piece.
Who is in?
Happy crocheting and

I sent a note before to get her address but didn't get a response - just sent her a note here on TwitterMoms but if you can send it to me too I'd be appreciative!! I had a bit of time last week and got three squares done and hope to finish a skein this week. It is HARD to find the kind of yarn she wants, around here... mostly accrylic as all we have to shop at are Hobby Lobby and Walmart.

What are the measurements for squares, any color rquirements, love to get involved. Also saw a post for extra stash to help a hospital who teaches patients and waiting family member to crochet to pass time, they are looking for hooks and yarn, will get info and post it!
Is there a deadline?

Update on this project:

I did send Dana an e-mail for the P.O. Box again..Any of you got answer from her?

Meredith, here I have info from Dana's site: -note the deadline is over, BUT she would like to do this as a regular event.
Gabriella

A few guidelines:

* Please use white, 100% cotton, worsted weight yarn.
* Final dimensions should be six inches by six inches square.
* Mail them to me by November 29th.
* Email me and I will send you my PO Box.

If interested, please let me know so I have some idea what to expect. If there is enough interest, I would like to make this a regular event so if you would like to suggest some charities which would be able to use handmade blankets in the future, please do! Also, if you like the idea and if you would like to help encourage others to join in, here is a nifty button you are free to use:

Crochet for Life

With some nifty code which will hopefully work. If not, and you do not know how to make it work, let me know and I’ll email it to you.

If your crochet needs some brushing up, here are a couple of links which may help:

Thanks for the update, Gabriella - I still haven't heard anything back with an address to send squares to but I do have some made up that are ready to get sent as soon as I know where to send them.
