A wonderful program I just learned about! Please introduce to your school and kids. Global Youth Leadership Instititute in WI. I am working on an interview with the executive director on Nurturing Global Leadership in Middle-School Students. Look for it in an upcoming issue of Junior. www.juniorthemagazine.com.

I am so glad to have found this group. I am a stay at home, work at home mom with 2 very active kids. There is a wide gap in their ages. My son is 13 and my daughter is 7. It is like two different worlds. However, I manage to stay heavily involved in both their daily lives (I'm the "koolaid mom"), cook dinner, and run my business. (Which involves training other mommas how to do what I do as well!) I am very involved at their school. I am a volunteer in my daughters classroom, the PTA, and girl scouts. I feel like I'm always on call. I am trying to stay on top of things in the junior/senior high school (I can't believe the things kids do anymore!) I used to coach baseball for my son. Now it is football! Anyone know what kind of committment that is??? OMG it is time consuming. However, he enjoys it. I seem to find enough hours in each day to fit it it. I run a tight ship..LOL! But, everyone is happy and healthy. I look forward to reading your tips and advice.
