We are going back to Doctor today...my son is not gaining any weight at all...and it is crazy trying to make him eat! He is never hungry and today we told him he had to eat his dinner or else...Guess what? He thou up everywhere. Now my husband is very upset and is going to take him off the pills. He does not really believe he has ADHD....he said it is all my fraud...and I am the reason he is on pills. Even if we have been to 3 different doctors and they all say he does have ADHD.

So we maybe back to the start again! I told Husband we can take him off pills if he wants to...I just hope he can see that the pills really do help.

Hi everyone -

Nice to meet everyone. My son has been dx for a little over a year now. After a year on Vyvanse, we had to do our first med adjustment last week. All seems to be under control again, so I can breathe a big sigh of relief that the crisis is over. His teachers all looked at me and said, "When he's not on the meds, WHHHEEEEE!" Yeah, no kidding!

Looking forward to swapping success stories and supporting each other on the days when the dragon wins.

I'm glad I found this group, my son has ADHD and I feel alone all the time. Some of my family don't even want to be around me because of my son.

I have an 7yr old son in the 2nd grade who was diagnosed about a year ago with ADHD he is on Concerta 27mg. I have to say what a difference this has made to our whole family! In the morning before his pill...He is hard to deal with and you have to deal with it until his pill kicks in...after that...he is great! Still have problems in school...but he has made such a big improvement since started the pills...it is great!

Hi everyone. I just want to say that this has really picked up and you are all great. If you would like to know how to get rid of toxins from your home and chemicals. There are some great products out there. It really helps your child calm down. Just like those patches, bleach or chemicals on clothes and sheets, also go into your pores. This allows those chemicals to enter your body, just like a patch. Did you know they did a study and 54% of moms who stayed at home had cancer verses the ones that worked out of the home, this was due to the cleaning chemicals.
Everyone keep up the great work, you're all wonderful.

Hi all! I am new to this whole twitter thing!! I have read thru some of ur comments and its like looking into my life =)
I have an 8yr old son in the 2nd grade who was diagnosed at age 6yrs with ADHD. I love him so much but he is a pure terror in the a.m. until he gets his medicine. He currently takes Concerta 54mg. I am concerned because he is still having a hard time in school...mainly with math. He has been on several meds...Adderall, the patch thing, Concerta, Focalin and something else (cant think of the name right now). At one point he was up 72 mg of Concerta and I wasnt comfortable with that...he is only 8rs old...weighs 55lbs and has a congenital heart defect (bicuspid aortic valve). His cardiologist is okay with him taking meds for his ADHD. I guess to be honest I just feel like a bad mom...no matter what I try his behavior is just horrible until he gets his medicine in him...is this normal?? I feel so lost and alone in this. HELP!!
