I am thinking its probably trying to do a complicated pattern while making dinner, and the kids are chasing the dogs around my feet. note...they are both big dogs
I tend to look for perfection more now that I've been knitting a bit. At first I didn't mind the spots that prove it is handmade! I've ripped out one project 4-5 times. Love the scarf! You'll be pleased with the final results!

well, I've only just started so ripping out is part of the learning. But I try not to be a perfectionist. I think if I could get away with it I would leave a mistake.
Hi Sharon, don't feel bad. I started a new project where you have to knit on four dpns. I ripped out and started over ALL DAY LONG. Finally, the next day I started one more time and got it! WOOT.
I have so done this. dpns are going to be the death of me. I love working a ribbing only to discover that somewhere along the way, because I haven't paid attention, my ribbing is off and now I have to find it or rip it.
