here's my first diaper cover...next one is going to be in wool. i have a photographer friend who now wants some for her newborn pictures, i thought it was kind of cool to be asked to make her some!

Hi, I'm new to the group and twittermoms. I've been knitting since I was about 8 years old, but have never made anything more complicated than a scarf or throw using a combination of knit/purl stitches. Just last week I stepped out on a limb and made a diaper cover (out of acrylic) to see if I could, now I'm getting ready to make several more using a wool/soy blend yarn.

Never tried Michaels but Walmart might also have big needles. I just think its easier to start big so you can easily see things.

Names, not really..sizes, most definately. I would try hobby lobby and get size 15's or so.
