How many projects does everyone typically work on at once? I'm just starting out with knitting, taking a class, and loving it! It is just a six week class, so I'm almost done, but already signed up again for January. I'm currently working on a sweater for my daughter, socks for my son, and a scarf for my husband! Next up is a project for me! Anyone have any advice on an easy-ish woman's sweater pattern? I'd like to make a nice, thick, heavy sweater.

Just wanted to say hello. Discovered Twitter a bit over 2 weeks ago. My current main project is Cobblestone for hubby. It's my NaKniSweMo sweater. I am indigo on Ravelry.

Finished my baby sweater!!!! Hated this pattern, so glad it is done and it looks good! Now trying to complete a celtic sweater for my sister - started at the beginning of the year.....

Lisa... glad you enjoyed your class! I made that sweater for my daughter... love their patterns. It's fairly easy to make, too! That's one of my favorite patterns@

Survived my first knitting class today and had a great time! It is so super laid back. A lot of the women have been knitting for years. Everyone hangs out and chats and the teacher walks around and helps with the various projects and answered questions. I made a sample today to take home and wash so that I can learn to measure my gauge at my next class. I'm starting to believe I can actually make the sweater pattern I got. Pretty exciting!
