Anyone have a child in the military? I'm about to and its a strange mix of feelings. I am proud beyond words and frightened like I never thought possible.
That's what happens when you raise "free range kids" lol! They go off to save the world! and they are confident in their abilities. : )

I think girls are more difficult when they are babies:)

5 girls, 3 boys here (most teenagers now). I think boys are physically difficult to raise while girls challenge me emotionally. Agree?

Hi Tracy Hohan, our first 4 children are all boys, there is a lot of testosterone lol but we just had our daughter in November and while we LOVE her to death, all of my boys are very easy compared to her lol.....biggest piece of advice that my mom gave me with boys is its important to not get in the middle and let them fight it out:} Although I have never tried it lol

Hello all! I always love meeting more fellow mothers of large families! It is so refreshing! I'm the mother of seven (no multiples) ages 13-2, six girls and one boy. We're a military family and travel around quite a bit.
Anyway, can't wait to get to know you!
