I think that's asking for major trouble unless you're going to set a very low limit. It can be a great way to teach financial responsibility. I sure wish I had learned it at a very young age!

I'm hoping I can teach him about credit before he actually gets out in the "real" world. Like you, I didn't learn it when I was younger. It would have definitely helped!
