LA (and the Valley) Moms and friends-- Don't miss this years most hilarious play about parenting "Mom's the Word" running now at the beautiful El Portal Theatre in Noho...great cast directed by Jerry London...an excellent moms night out! This show has been a huge hit in 10 major cities worldwide...be sure to catch the west coast premiere. You won't be sorry.

The Autry Museum is holding a lecture ("Lean Times, Green Times") about the costs of eating organic during lean times on Saturday, Aug. 29. Followed by a "cook-off" between two local LA chefs. They must prepare a tasty organic meal for a family of four for under $30. Live action cooking fun for the whole family. Farmers Market stand on site.
