That is what I am dealing with now. It seems that since I got married I have forgotten what my dreams were and what my goals were/are. I have put that aside for being a mom and at one time the sole provider. I am trying to get to my goals and dreams with the support of my family. It's hard to remember but I need to make sometime for me. With support from family, I hope to accomplish this for our benefit.
I feel like mine have gone the way of laziness. Plain and simple. I've been in situations where I didn't have time to pursue my dreams, then when time was available, things like motivation and imagination (and even money, when necessary) were in short order. These days, I have more time than ever to write, and I am now doing that at least some daily. Who knows how long it will last (this time)? But at least I am happy and feel like I am doing something, and being productive.
I'm so glad to be here! Synolve, you know me personally, so you know what a dreamer I am! I mean, my nicknames in junior high and high school were always along the lines of 'space cadet' and 'airhead' (and geez, I hope that's all, and that that's the worst of them!)....my head was always in the clouds. I was always daydreaming! It's a wonder I ever learned anything in school
And you know where my mind was in school......daydreaming.......I never stopped. Let people call you a dreamer....once you make each one of your dreams come true...they will KNOW that it's true!

Hi Everyone!
his group is starting out to a great start!! Great discussion question Synolve. One of my dreams was to start an organization called "Mommy's Dreams" in which I would help moms to discover their passions again because we as moms and women often put ourselves on the backburner. I lived that way for most of my 11 yrs of marriage, but at the end of last year and the beginning of this year, I decided to put my pot back on the front of the stove and pursue my dreams of helping women to discover the dreams that they had lost (just like you Synolve..whooohoo). I ended up helping a mom with her dream and discovered my passion for empowering girls and recently started a pre-teen empowerment group called Jewels. The problem I'm having now is now that I have stepped out, I get scared about my ability to be consistent and keep it up. Yesterday I had a panicky hour or so, feeling inadequate since we are having our parent/member Meet and Greet this Saturday. I think that this group here will help me when I feel the jitters to keep pressing forward and pursuing my dreams. Thanks Synolve, this is going to be great!! Hugs, Kara
