Any gluten-free Mamas here? I've been gluten- (and dairy-free, for that matter) since June 1st, first to lose baby weight (I'm down 25 lbs. since then), but truthfully, the organic-lifestyle has me hooked for health and wellness reasons also. I feel... cleaner, less toxic, "better."

Would love to hear from other gluten-free, organic Moms -- good recipes, product recommendations, help through cravings (I DO miss my New York pizza....), etc.

Hi Gina!!! I'm a gluten free Mom. I've also been gluten free since June 1st! My son has celiac disease and I've been cooking gluten free for over five years and decided to join him last summer. I love it. I have no more joint pain, I feel much less toxic and better overall. I have a group here, too, called, "Mom Cooks Gluten Free" with links to my blog. Nothing to sell. :-) Just lots of recipes, pictures and product reviews. Oh, that's not true. I do have a couple of children's books on healthy eating, but the point of the blog is to spread gluten free awareness and yummy recipes/products!

I have been gluten free since I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease 2 years ago. My blog is the Gluten Free Optimist, gluten free info, praise, and humor. I just started the Celiac Disease Awareness group here on TwitterMoms. I look forward to hearing about your favorite gluten free foods.

I am not Gluten Free yet but going to be making the change over very soon. I haven't been diagnosed with Celiac disease but do have Systemic Candida and having the hardest time getting rid of it. From what I was reading and hearing about Gluten Free have a very strong feeling that it will be a big help in my success to get better. As well my husband has M.S., Diabetes and Neuropathy and have a feeling that will be a big help for him as well.

It is important to have the blood test for celiac disease before starting a gluten free diet to get accurate results. Many people who don't have celiac diseae are still gluten intolerant. I have lots of gluten free links of my blog. It is amazing how many places gluten is hidden. You may want to start with a gluten free grocery guide. Also join the two gluten free groups here at twittermoms - Mom Cooks Gluten Free and Celiac Disease Awareness. Good luck. I hope it helps you!
