I got married at 19 to my first husband. We were married for 7 years then divorced. I met my current husband 2 years later and we got married about 6 weeks after our daughter was born. (oops backwards!) We have been married now for 2 1/2 years. I won't say that the second time is easier but I definitely am a lot happier now than I was before. My husband is a step-father to my 2 kids from my previous marriage Taylor (11) and Colton (8.5) and daddy to Kamdyn (2.5), I think blending families is a tough thing to do but we are making it work. It is nice to have somewhere to go to visit others like me!

I got married when I was 18 out of stupidity. More to make my parents mad since they told me not to... Married again at 21...Seperated at 23... and we have been "dating again" for almost a year now... Lord time flys. New to this Twitter Moms looking to meet other moms who have the same parenting issues and things that I believe we all face and make some new friends who share in the same issues... Glad to see there are groups out there that fit just about all of us...

Welcome Lee! Talk about trying to blend families. My #2 was also older and already had 2 children. The weird thing is his oldest was only 8 years younger than I which made it sort of weird when we got together at holidays which really was just a short visit, but still it was weird. Good luck with #3! My #4 was the charmer with me...but that is because # 3 was a rebound thing. Should have known he was the "Sleeping with the Enemy" type!

Hello! I am about to embark on #3. One was young and dumb...two was older but still dumb. 2 kids out of that, which is the only good thing that came from it. I am now 41, and getting married in January. He is also on #3, and has children from #2. I think the main issue is all the baggage we both have and the blending and trying to figure it all out!! It takes so much planning and discussing, especially when you have been single for a while again!! Sharing is not easy...even when you are an adult!

Welcome Amy! My first marriage was to my high school sweetheart too. Lasted a whole 3/12 yrs.
