I am a born again Crristian and was hoping to see McCain win, but God has his ways... I hear Obama is going to have Rick Warren do his prayer at the inaugeration.

Hi everyone! Gosh it's been forever since I've been able to hop over here and see how things are going. I'm going to also make this a discussion but wanted to let you know about a fabulous tool I found for connecting with other conservatives on Twitter.

Click here to check out Top Conservatives on Twitter (ever see the #TCOT hashtag and wondered what it was? That's it!). If you follow people on the list, the majority will follow you back. And you can apply to be on the list as well.

Since I've been on there I get dozens of follow requests every day and am up to over 750 followers! It's SO nice to be able to see so many tweets from like-minded people and I don't feel so alone in Twitterland anymore. :)

Fellow conservative Moms. We need a safe place on the web where our conservative values and ideas are welcomed and encouraged. I created a group today where we can do just that as an extension of our group blog Moms In The Right.

Regardless of who controls the Federal government there is so much we can do as Mothers to raise up Godly children, affect conservative change in our communities, and protect the ideals and values The United States of America was founded upon.

In fact, as Mothers we are better positioned than anyone else to protect and inspire the next generation. It is my hope that through this 'support group' we can begin to correct the 'me first,' 'truth is relative' path our country has been traveling down.

If you would like to join us, send me a message and I will send you an invite.

Blessings,
Katie

I'm here because I want Rep and Dems to work together. I grew up at the conventions (my dad was a lobbyist). So I'm relatively bipartisan. Those in office on both sides work together everyday. We should too. We only really see them during election time. They really aren't as divided as we see them in the public. They also don't necessarily believe all the bad things about each other that we see in the media during election time.

I don't think anyone should blindly follow ANYONE! I'm not asking for your support of Obama... but of coming together with your neighbors to bring about the common ground between our beliefs and wants. We have the power to make change in our government and our lives, not just the President.

If Bush and McCain can offer a hand to Obama in welcoming him... what are you willing to do in your communities to come together?
