Yayyy!!! Obama won! There is a flash of hope and light in our futures... lets all work together now... no more either/or... republican/democrat. We are one nation... and we can bring this nation back from the smouldering wreckage of the Bush administration. All politicians have egos, for sure. Some crave power to advance their own interests. Other wield power for the good of all.... Obama is that kind of politician. He cares about all citizens and our standing in the world. Lets move on from here as one, with our heads up.

JFK "Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country" Well Obama has brought it 180 degrees... we are now a nation of ask not what I can do for my country but what can my country do for me....

Thank you all for being here... out in twitter land is so one sided. I was feeling alone and sad. Then I remembered all of you. The next four years will test us. My thoughts are with the military families who must be feeling alone right now. Let's pray for the safety of our great nation.

I so agree with Rhonda...we do have to hit rock bottom...lets keep the prayers going and supporting each other through this next trial.

Rhonda....that's what I've been telling myself up until today. But today has just hit me really hard and I'm very sad. But sometimes things that look horrible turn out to be a blessing in disguise. Maybe this will be a low point before things start to get better. Maybe people will start to see the light.

I'm sad, but more than ever, I'm committed to staying engaged in prayer for this nation past the election.

One thing we have to remember. Is that God does work in the affairs of men. Nothing that happens tonight will happen without God allowing it. Sometimes we have to hit rock bottom before we cry out to God.

This is going to be hard. But we will have to press in, and trust Him, or real Savior.
