Thanks Barbara, I think I have been conflicted about the whole blogging thing until fairly recently. I completely agree with you about owning one's own domain name. It really does seem like the way to move forward.

@siouxsie I always recommend to use your own URL and not the .blogspot / .wordpress ones. The thing is you can put a lot of time into growing your readers and link building, but all the links go to the .blogspot and if you ever want to make a change you can't control those links. If you own your URL and you want to change blogging platforms, the links are all the same and aren't affected.

If you are considering starting fresh, get your own domain name.

@pacwp try adding it to your twittermom page as a bog post. You can summarize it and then add a link to your post. Also, drop a link in your Twitter (What are you doing) so your followers can read it.

I'm brand new to blogging, and would love to learn more from those of you who are more experienced

I currently maintain one blog that's been limping along for a couple of years (I took a break from blogging and wrote a bunch of reviews for a review website for a few years). My main blog is http://bloomsday-ramblings.blogspot.com/index.html, although I have been seriously considering chucking this one and starting fresh using WordPress... just never seem to get around to it.

Hi. I'm a mom of 2 and I blog at www.acorndreaming.com. I'm impressed by all the folks who have multiple blogs. I can barely manage 1.

Hi!
I'm a mommy with a website and four blogs. They're about weddings, children, fashion, and travel. Happy to "meet" all of you!

How do you invite other Twitter moms to view your blog? I do have two posts on my blog now, but don't know what to do to promote it?

I would love any advice!!

Hello... I'm a fellow mommy blogger. I've had my website for a few months now and I love it. My site is all about having a baby in Los Angeles and a fun way to tell stories through product and location reviews. www.babyfriendlyla.com
