November is American Diabetes Month. At the request of our group member, Penny, Moms for a Cause will dedicate November to raise awareness for diabetes. Thanks Penny! I myself have Type 2 Disbetes and I am still learning.

I am looking for sites and blogs that will help educate, as well as offer links to products for sale. As I build the list, I will post them here.

Do you or a family member have / had diabetes? Share your story this month on your blog and then share with Twitter Moms by coming back here and posting the link. If you don't have or no one in your family has diabetes, you can still help raise awareness. Go to http://www.diabetes.org/home.jsp and read the statistics on Dibetes. Your write-up can be informational, helping others to see there is still so much more that can be done to Kiss Diabetes Goodbye!

I participate in our cities yearly Relay for Life as a team captain and also as a participant of the relay committee. This year I am going to head up the media realm for the Relay.

I'm a Sales Director with Mary Kay. The MK ASh Charitable Foundation does so much to raise money and support finding a cure for cancers that effect woman. I am thrilled to be a part of this group!
