A great voice that needs to be heard on what's happening to boys in today's cultural crisis! Check out The Secret Lives of Boys: Inside the Raw Emothional World of Male Teens. I just completed an interview with Malina Saval for an upcoming issue of Junior, the magazine about bringing up successful boys. Parents think they know their boys! What boys are up against now. "Adults today never had to deal with the Internet or cyber-bullying or other kids slamming their reputations on Facebook or posting half-naked pictures of them puking on their Myspace page. Via the Internet, society has become one big emotional free-for-all...This can be a lot for teenage boys to handle." Saval has some important information to share with parents and educators. Check out her book and subscribe to Junior to get an early look at this timely interview. www.juniorthemagazine.com.

I look forward to your order and sharing your stories bringing up boys in the magazine. In future issues I will be showcasing more boys and giving boys a chance to share their stories, contribute articles and become interns on the project. With more support there is so much more I can do with the magazine. Please help introduce Junior, the publication about bringing up successful boys to more moms of boys. I have tons of information and resources on this topic. Stay in touch! www.juniorthemagazine.com.

Glad to be a part of this group. I have two sons who are 12 and 9. Three if you count my husband.

I love parenting boys and wouldn't change it for the world!!

Evangelia thanks for the statistics. I have seen some of them before but they always bear repeating. Also I am a fan of Michael Gurian and his work on the learning styles of boys. I will be subscribing to Junior.

I certainly don't want to see problems where there are none but in wanting to create the best environment for my sons I think it is best to be aware of situations that MAY hamper their optimal development.

Thanks in advance for your publication.

This fall millions of boys will return to school; some will be extremely successful, others will struggle. Two-thirds of special education students in high school are boys; boys are 50% more likely to be held back in school and 30% more likely than girls to flunk or drop out without earning a high school diploma. Boys are four to five times more likely than girls to be diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and are far more likely to be referred to a school psychologist. Are you ready when your boys return to school. Visit my site and purchase a subscription to Junior, the magazine about bringing up successful boys and send a gift subscription to another mother of a boy to ensure she is ready for boys at school. www.juniorthemagazine.com. We will be profiling more boys in upcoming issues. Send us information on why your boy should be in the pages of Junior!

LOL, All I can do is laugh in RELIEF! I was feeling alone and wondering why I was outnumbered so badly by boys! I see it DOES get worse! Ok, my question for everyone, who cleans the toilet in YOUR house?

I am a mother of 2 boys ages 7 and 9 that argue, get on eachothers nerves and sometimes play nice and love eachother. I'm sure many of you here understand my struggle!

I am a mother of three boys 11, 8, and 6. Oh yah, I forgot about my husband :) I am blessed to have my three boys. I would not have it any other way. The Most High blessed us each with all boys for a reason and I thank Him everyday for that; stresses and all!! :)
