Did you have a vaginal birth with your twins/multiples? Or did you have a C-Section, or both?

I am happy to say that i had a vaginal birth, it is what i wanted. But, if i hadnt pushed the boys out when i had, they would have cut me open . Their heart rates were dropping. But with the help of a vacuum and forceps, they came out. I hated the forceps though!

I really wanted a vaginal delivery, but I delivered both of my girls by c-section at 34 weeks. Twin A was head down and Twin B was transverse, but after pushing for awhile, she wasn't coming, so they went for a c-section. I was on bedrest since 27 weeks, so I had already started dilating pretty early, but the morning my water broke, I was already at 10 centimeters dilated by the time we got to the hospital. Water broke at 3:15 am and my girls were born at 6:41 am!

The first to arrive on the scene was a vaginal birth, the second arrived via c-section 7 hours and 8 minutes later. I think he wanted to stay put since he had all that space to himself. Baby a had an extremely short cord (barely made it out), and we were afraid Baby b's was even shorter.

Mine were vaginal. Baby A was head down the entire time and B had decided to be head down at the end. Before that she was all over but it was always a go with A head down. I was induced at 38 weeks 5 days and it was my easiest labor and delivery. They were born 25 minutes apart. The hardest part was the placentas. They would not detatch and the doctor had to reach in and get them after I got put under anesthesia. I ended up hemorrhaging and loosing 2000ml of blood

i had all 5 of my kids by c-section. i had tried natural with my oldest but he was to big and after about 8 hrs of labor he was not moving down. he was 9lbs 3 oz. he was just to big for me to push out. i almost had my 1st twins vaginally but one was butt down and they said it would be easier to have a c-section. then with my 2nd set it was just the easiest option and safest.

I had a scheduled c-section with my girls because they were Monoamniotic (same sac) for that reason they wouldn't let me go past 34 weeks for fear of strangulation or Twin to Twin Transfusion... I delivered at 33.... My single was a vaginal delivery and with no complications. IF and it's a big IF, I have another, I'm not really sure what I would do.... I loved the experience of the vaginal delivery, but boy, the scheduled C was really convenient and for me the recovery was so much easier... It would be a tough call!
