twitter moms: the influential moms network

I hope this is okay for me to post - if not, feel free to delete it.

MOST (Mothers of Supertwins) is asking ALL parents of multiples to take this quick survey on marriage and/or divorce. With the recent news of J & K +8 and her statement that parents with multiples have a high divorce rate, MOST decided to put together a survey, just to see what the numbers truly are based how many parents we can get to take the survey. MOST has been receiving many phone calls from reporters asking them if they know what the actual percentage is!

Feel free to pass this along to your multiples groups! Parent of Multiples please take this important survey on Divorce and the Multiple Birth Family and SHARE link with as many other families as possible.

That was interesting, do most multiple marriages have big bumps?

That is what we (MOST) would like to figure out. Kate Goesslin stated that families with multiple births have a HIGH rate of divorce. (I don't plan on starting a topic on that!) The ladies in the MOST office have been fielding calls all week being asked what the actual % is, thus the survey was born! LOL

We have also heard from some families that this has also caused some concern for some of their children who heard this statement (you know how you just have the TV on and are not really listening to it...but, your children are) anyway the kids may not totally understand what it means, except that if you have multiples your parents will most likely divorce - so some of the children are a little scared that it will happen to their parents.

Okay, so getting back to your original question - I would probably say that a lot of families with multiples do hit bumps in the road at some point during their marriage, then again - I think most marriages will hit a bump in the road at some point, whether they have no children....or they have a houseful!
