twitter moms: the influential moms network

Hello Everyone~

I just started a discussion for twitter id's, but also thought (half way through the post for that one) that knowing each other's blogs might be nice too. I have a blog that highlights some of my thoughts and feelings around being a mom, wife, woman and mother of a SN child. I like to follow other blogs that do the same. Yes, I am a member of blogger moms, but I thought it would be nice to have a record of blogs that are specific to special needs.

So, if you have one or know of one you'd like to share, please list it here so we can all start following via RSS or email.

Mine is www.GeneralHysteria.blogspot.com

Looking forward to reading and following. Mia.

Hi! I'm Jill, mom to Alex and Ned (11 and 8). Alex has PDD-NOS and was born premature. We've had quite an adventure-filled life since just before he was born. We blog about him at autismvox.com. My husband and I write a lot of personal essays about Alex (and Jeff, my husband, wrote two books about Alex - the first one, Alex; the fathering of a preemie, can be found on Amazon). Lately we've been doing more news kinds of things on the blog but I really hope people will stop by and visit and let us know what they prefer!

I went back to the personal essay mode today, writing about how I wish there were an autism expert in everyday things, someone to help you figure out how many (or how few) toys you should have, how to cope with some of the typical stressful behaviors of autism. Let me know what you think!
