Hi Ladies

Hope all enjoyed the weekend ! Because it is rapidly slipping away. Tonight I am needing some info. My laptop caught a bug, so I bought my daughters since she got new one for her birthday in September. This laptop has no Microsoft Office, Works, hardly anything I normally use. So, I am curious before I buy a particular program, if any of you have a suggestion for a office type program for writing. I am to the point of putting in my book and then send or print. But, I don't have a program on this laptop to use. So, anyone having some ideas or currently have a favorite all tips would be greatly appreciated.

Wondering if anyone writes for any paying online magazines?? Please do share.. I write for Suite 101. It is great but revenue share.. Am essentially looking for upfront paying gigs for international writer moms.. Thanks!!

Hi everyone. Boy was I excited to see this group. I am a author. I have written two books in there entirity and a few more I'm working on. I have one published and one sitting at the publisher now. I have two children. Josh who is 26 and J.R. who is 13. It a challange writing with a family no matter what there age. My 72 yr. old mother and of course my man also live with me. I write paranormal murder mysteries. It's funny but neither of my boys have completely read my first book. I am a bit happy about that since there is sex and violence. They seem happy enough that It's published. LOL But hello to all fellow writers.

New member here. I write articles for an online magazine and also, love to write on parenting, family, toddler stuff and home management. Am glad to have found this group and look forward to being here!
